Terms of Service
Last updated September 15, 2026
Squip is a young, independently operated product currently in beta. These terms are written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email squipadmin@squipit.com.
1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using Squip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What Squip does
Squip is an autonomous agent that works customer-support cases on your behalf — refunds, cancellations, disputes, and billing fixes — by operating a real browser session against the merchant's support system, the way you would yourself.
3. Beta status
Squip is currently in a limited beta. We're onboarding accounts on a first-come, first-served basis as capacity allows, and features, availability, and performance may change without notice. We don't guarantee uptime or a specific turnaround time during this period.
4. Your account
You need an account to use Squip. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account secure. One account per person, please.
5. Authorizing Squip to act for you
When you give Squip a case, you're authorizing it to contact the relevant merchant's support channels as you, using the details you provide. You're responsible for making sure what you tell Squip is accurate — Squip acts on the information it's given.
6. Credentials, payments & irreversible actions
Squip never enters a password, one-time code, or payment detail on its own — it pauses and waits for you. The same goes for anything irreversible: closing an account, accepting a partial refund, or agreeing to new terms with a merchant. Those decisions are always yours.
7. Credits & payments
Some use of Squip is paid for with credits, purchased through our payment processors (Stripe or Razorpay) at the price shown at checkout. Purchased credits are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Squip to:
- Break the law, or ask us to act on your behalf to break it.
- Harass, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to a merchant or its staff.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or abuse Squip's systems.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
9. No guaranteed outcome
Squip works your case as far as the merchant's process allows, but we can't guarantee a merchant will grant a refund, cancellation, or credit. If Squip can't resolve your case, you'll get the full transcript and a summary of where it stalled, and you won't be charged for that case.
10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Squip is provided “as is,” especially during beta, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using Squip and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use Squip after a change means you accept the update.
